Food Operations Associate - Part Time
Department: Co-Cuisine Production Allocate 800009
Employment Type: Part Time
Location: Co - Cuisine
Reporting To: Christopher Williams
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 / hour
Description
TheFood Operations Associate plays a dual role in supporting both food production and delivery operations. This position is responsible for supporting the preparation and packaging of high-quality food products, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring accurate, timely deliveries to customer locations. The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:30am-2:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
• Follow recipes and build specifications to prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items in a team-based, assembly-line environment.
• Assist in preparing raw ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy by adhering to recipes and production instructions.
• Monitor holding times and temperatures to maintain food safety standards.
Food Packaging & Labeling
• Package finished food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately label products with required information, including expiration dates.
• Ensure packaging is neat, secure, and visually appealing for customers.
Quality Control & Safety
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary production areas.
• Report food quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and sanitation procedures.
Production Line Support
• Support efficient production line operations by following established workflows.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain productivity.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Eat Club Operations
• Organize and maintain daily workflows, ensuring efficient sorting and fulfillment processes.
• Ensure all meals meet packaging and labeling standards.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and efficiency in order sorting.
• Clean and organize delivery trays, bags, and workstations.
• Assist with or lead pre-sort and sorting processes.
• Ensure all deliveries depart on time.
• Complete delivery and fulfillment of meals, including customer-facing drop-offs.
• Maintain strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Driving Responsibilities
• Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Represent the company professionally by adhering to uniform and conduct standards.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Load delivery vehicles accurately based on assigned routes and verify all required items.
• Drive company vehicles to customer accounts and Continental building, Operating a company vehicle equipped with continuous driver-facing and road-facing video safety technology
• Deliver correct orders on time while maintaining food safety standards.
• Communicate any issues or delays promptly to management.
• Handle end-of-day responsibilities, including unloading equipment and returning unused or dirty items.

  • Valid Chauffer's License required upon hire
  • Complete and maintain company sponsored food safety certifications

Physical Demands
The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, bending, lifting (Moving items of 40-70 pounds or more on a regular basis), and moving intermittently throughout the workday. These requirements may be met with or without reasonable accommodations.
