Job description

The primary responsibility of the Service Clerk is to receive, organize and file, all customer document's for historical record keeping of the dealership.

  • File documents in the service and accounting departments
  • Maintain all historical records for the dealership in an orderly fashion
  • Pull files as needed for Management, Warranty companies and/or Manufacturer
  • Make copies for customers as requested
  • Assist in daily receipting of funds and deposits
  • Assist customer with cashing out
  • Processes paperwork on a timely basis
  • Operate office equipment and computer systems as needed
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Effective communication skills is a must
  • High level of honesty and integrity
  • Team-oriented and comfortable in an open office
  • Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
