For over 35 years, Aggie Janiak Insurance & Financial Services Inc. has been helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most through trusted insurance and financial solutions.

We are currently looking for a motivated, client-focused, and entrepreneurial Property & Casualty Insurance Advisor to join our successful and growing agency in Mississauga.

This position focuses on Home, Auto, and Commercial Insurance and offers the opportunity to work with an established client base while also developing new business for the agency.

Opportunity for High Performers

This role offers the opportunity to work with an established client base built over 35 years, providing strong cross-selling opportunities within home, auto, and commercial insurance.

In addition to servicing existing clients, the successful advisor will be expected to actively develop new business through referrals, networking and relationship building, helping grow the agency .

Advisors who demonstrate strong performance and obtain LLQP license may also have the opportunity to pivot to our Financial Services team specializing in Life Insurance and Living Benefits and Group Benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate home, auto, and commercial insurance solutions
  • Provide quotes and policy recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking , and prospecting
  • Follow up on leads, referrals, and existing client opportunities
  • Review policies and identify coverage gaps
  • Deliver outstanding client service while growing your book of business

Qualifications

  • OTL (Other Than Life) license required at the start of employment
  • Must meet and maintain all Desjardins hiring requirements
  • Previous experience in insurance sales, sales, or sales driven role is an asset
  • Comfortable using computer systems and technology
