The primary job objective is to work with Sales and Program Managers and with internal Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing Customers and assigned External Customers to: coordinate, manage, mediate, and negotiate any item or activity such as price, delivery, quality, and responsiveness that directly affects the customer's decision to continue to do business with TTM Technologies. Inside Sales II will have responsibility to grow the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works with blueprints, purchase orders, quotes to provide pricing, enters new orders or changes existing ones.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Interact with manufacturing and supervisory personnel to communicate information back to the customer. Written and oral communication skills are used on a daily basis to facilitate customer or Company concerns, instructions or requests.
  • Enter, follow and manage quotations. Respond to RFQ's (Request for Quotation)
  • Enter, follow and manage customer orders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Deal directly with TTM Production Control to obtain accurate and timely information.
  • Navigate and utilize TTM's Praxa business system
  • Navigate and utilize TTM's Customer Connect quoting system.
  • Facilitates and attends meetings.
  • Manage at least one (1) customer account with responsibilities including:
  • Manages customer product through the plant. Provides leadership, direction and communication for the customer ensuring product information and execution from Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering for timely completion projects.
  • Investigates/researches product history and recommends strategies for negotiating and securing purchase agreements from customers and suppliers.
  • Review Customer RFQs and prepares pricing analysis and proposals for processing.
  • Recommend pricing and delivery strategies for Customer Quote responses.
  • Process customer orders to Order Entry.
  • Process customer change orders to Planning and Order Entry.
  • Provide leadership in resolving problems affecting performance on customer scorecards, increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in development of annual sales bookings forecast data relative to assigned accounts of responsibility and provide daily, weekly, monthly sales booking forecast data.
  • Assist Company Controller as needed with Accounts Receivable collection activities.
  • Responsible for growing profitable revenue and market share from customers assigned to his/her assigned territory.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Education and Experience:
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education & work experience. Bachelor's degree a plus.

Required Experience:
  • Electronic, PCB and/or assembly production knowledge preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
