Territory-Based | Hybrid | Client-Facing Market Role

About the Role

Are you looking to launch or grow your career in sales and marketing? Our Account Executive role is an excellent opportunity for motivated early-career professionals who are eager to learn consultative selling, develop business relationships, and make a direct impact on local businesses.

In this role, you'll identify new business opportunities, engage with prospective clients, and recommend marketing solutions that help businesses grow. You'll partner with local businesses to understand their goals, present tailored marketing recommendations, and support their growth through a combination of digital and traditional advertising solutions. You'll also collaborate closely with our post-sale support teams, who manage campaign performance, reporting, and optimization.

During your first 90 days, you'll participate in structured onboarding, learn LocaliQ's products and sales process, and begin building your prospecting and client engagement skills. Our goal is to provide the coaching and resources needed to help you ramp successfully and build a long-term career in sales.

What You Will Do

  • Build a consistent prospecting cadence using cold calls, email, social outreach, networking, and in-person or virtual meetings to develop a strong pipeline. 
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and business goals.
  • Partner with experienced team members to develop and present marketing recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and develop strong pipeline management habits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support positive client experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development.
  • Stay engaged post-sale through reporting, optimization, and performance conversations that support renewals and continued growth. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
  • Comfortable speaking with new people and building professional relationships.
  • Organized with strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems
  • Interest in digital marketing, advertising, or business growth solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
