SUMMARY
The IT System Analyst Manager is responsible for the direct management and oversight of the bank's Lending Solutions, providing guidance and support to System Analysts who oversees the organization's loan origination systems, loan document systems, mortgage, and credit card applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets clear, measurable objectives for the core team that align with the strategic priorities of the organization.
  • Collaborates closely with management across the organization to ensure system integrity is maintained.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures for core, ancillary, and third-party applications.
  • Creates and/or provides guidance on disaster recovery and business continuity plans (BCPs) for core, ancillary, and third-party applications.
  • Manages resource allocation for core team members to ensure timely completion of critical tasks and projects.
  • Partners with departments and business units to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for core, ancillary, and third-party applications meet business needs.
  • Manages internal and external audit walkthroughs and ensures adherence to Information Technology General Controls (ITGC); responsible for responding to audit findings.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to manage and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Works closely with other segments of IT Operations to ensure optimal end-user support.
  • Provides direct input to the IT annual operating and capital expenditure budget for Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) and manages expenses to stay within plan.
  • Establishes and reports team performance metrics to management.
  • Applies skill mastery and experience with core and ancillary applications to provide direction, identify performance issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Stays current on financial industry trends to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Makes decisions independently and operates with limited supervision.


MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides direction, leadership, and coaching to staff in alignment with HR guidelines and policies.
  • Collaborates with direct reports to create Individual Development Plans (IDPs) focused on career advancement opportunities.
  • Leads the team on assigned project efforts.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 7-9 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience with bank applications, software administration, and vendor management preferred
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment preferred
  • Prior banking experience preferred
