Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Expediter to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered to customers promptly and accurately. Duties
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor the preparation of dishes to maintain quality standards and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries related to food orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
