As an HR Specialist I, you'll manage key parts of the employee lifecycle from offer acceptance through exit, supporting onboarding, employee development, HR compliance, engagement, and the overall employee experience across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the pre-employment process from offer acceptance through start date, including background checks, drug testing, motor vehicle records where applicable, and required new hire documentation.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, first-day logistics, orientation, equipment, system access, and 30/60/90-day onboarding plans.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation covering company culture, policies, benefits, and role expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant personnel files, including I-9 and E-Verify records, and support ongoing HR compliance.
  • Coordinate company-wide training and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, and completion tracking.
  • Lead employee recognition and engagement programs, including service awards, surveys, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR questions and support offboarding and exit interview processes.
  • Administer and maintain HR systems, including Emburse and Predictive Index.
  • Partner with HR leadership on employee experience initiatives, process improvements, reporting, audits, and other HR projects.
