Position Overview

The HR Data & Analytics Analyst will support HCG Analytics functions at Houlihan Lokey by providing reports and analytics to Finance Operations, HCG colleagues and other key stakeholders. The person will be responsible for creating, maintaining and running reports in Workday on both ad-hoc basis and for regular scheduled delivery. This will require ongoing communication with stakeholders to foster constructive relationships, understand business needs, then action into meaningful support and insights. In collaboration with the HCG Analytics Lead, they will develop the analytics resources in Workday by building dashboards, discovery boards and drive reports. The person will assist in responding to data requests, managing regular monthly and quarterly reporting responsibilities, building and testing audits, coordinating statutory and regulatory survey responses, working on system improvement projects to clean-up and capture more data in a standardized manner. They will be responsible for ensuring consistent, accurate data with responsible data governance and documented processes.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand areas for support and translate them into useful reports and analytics.
  • Review day-to-day emails and ServiceNow cases, acknowledge receipt and ask relevant questions, then respond with suitable data and analyses.
  • Provide support in regular reporting processes including audits, monthly updates, employee survey response data, quarterly reviews and year-end annual reports.
  • Create, maintain, edit and schedule custom reports in Workday.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve data, processes, functionality and workflow
  • Gather business requirements and design reporting / dashboard solutions in collaboration with HR and the lines of business.
  • Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain security protocols.

Key Attributes / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not essential)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, Business Analytics, HR Systems management or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and system integrations. Workday Experience preferred.
  • Proven project management capabilities, including experience running multiple projects simultaneously with overlapping deadlines and an ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritization, time pressures and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal and/or sensitive data.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation and Benefits

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

NYC: $95,000 - $115,000

Atlanta: $85,000 - $100,000

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
