SUMMARY
The H uman Resources Generalist will provide support and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of HR operations. This position reports to the Assistant Manager, Total Rewards , or another senior management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate . This position is onsite in Houston, TX , and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • T alent Acquisition, Pre & Onboarding
    • Execute tasks related with preboarding & onboarding: send written offer s to candidates, process background checks, IT & system set up request c andidate communications and new hire data entry.
    • C onduct new hire orientation, ensuring all required documents are executed and received and all necessary access/equipment is provided;
    • Conduct I - 9 verifications, regularly audit for accuracy and compliance .
  • HR Operations
    • Support the HR Operations team with the day-to-day HR operations ; up to including maintaining HR's daily or weekly mail requir e ments.
    • Partner with HRIS team in the Workday and ADP i niatives (system testing, data inputs , and data migration reconciliation ).
    • Create and ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures;
    • Effectively communicate to employees on various HR matters; and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures.
    • Support the development and implementation of new HR policies and procedures .
  • Benefit Administration Support
    • Assist employees with basic benefit-related questions and direct more complex inquiries .
    • Support new hire benefit enrollment , qualifying life event changes, and employee benefit updates.
    • Support benefit audits, eligibility reviews, and enrollment reconcilations to ensure data accuracy .
    • Assist with annual Open Enrollment activities, including employee communications, meeting coordination and enrollment tracking .
    • Help resolve routine enrollment, billing, and elgibility discrepancies by coordinating with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders .
  • Compliance
    • Support with the p repar ation , review, audit and/or process HR related information, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment law, internal process and program requirements;
    • Align with Hanwha Q CELLS policies, maintain federal and state compliance requirements;
    • Maintain strict confidentiality, company, and personnel information;
    • Keep up-to-date with employment laws and best practices, and communicate these to management regularly .
  • Other Duties as Assigned
    • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or another related field in business administration
  • Minimum of 3 + years of relevant human resources experience
  • K nowledge of various benefit programs
  • K nowledge of HR operations and administration
  • K nowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations
  • P roficiency using software programs such as HRIS , Payroll system (such as ADP WFN)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or related energy industries
  • P roficiency using HRIS (such as Workday), Payroll system (such as ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, etc ), and MS O ffice
