At 2020 Exhibits, we create custom made exhibits and booth rentals for trade shows and events. We specialize in designing, fabricating, installing and dismantling large- scale custom and rental exhibits, branded corporate interiors, and engaging environments worldwide.


We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and people-focused HR leader who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting employee growth, and driving organizational success. The Human Resource Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the organization's human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, compliance, and organizational culture. This position serves as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring that human resource initiatives support the company's business objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Human Resource Director will report to Ownership and The Chief Executive Officer.

Onsite-Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and Communicate policies, and programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, concerns, and workplace conflicts.
  • Advise managers and supervisors on employee performance, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Coordinate & promote employee engagement, recognition programs, and employee events & activities.
  • Facilitate compensation programs, salary administration, and incentive plans.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, PTO, and leave programs.
  • Facilitate annual performance reviews and merit increase processes.
  • Support leadership and employee career growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee HRIS systems, employee records, and data integrity.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR) preferred.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices FLSA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, OSHA and all Equal Employment Opportunity laws.
  • Leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Paylocity preferred) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
