Job description

Position Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Human Resources Business Partner to oversee a wide range of administrative, HR, and operational support functions within a residential treatment facility. This role requires a detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and process-driven individual who can manage multiple responsibilities including recruitment coordination, onboarding, staff relations, and financial and systems oversight. The ideal candidate works well independently, collaborates effectively across departments, and brings a customer service mindset to internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly business office operations with attention to accuracy and timeliness, including:

    • Processing vendor payments

    • Coordinating with billing partners to ensure charges are processed

    • Collecting and depositing payments

  • Manage new hire orientation and onboarding processes

  • Support a strong internal culture through ongoing communication and leadership alignment

  • Coordinate performance evaluations, recognition, corrective action, and conflict resolution

  • Maintain complete and accurate personnel files, including certifications and licensure tracking

  • Respond to requests for employee records in compliance with applicable privacy laws

  • Serve as the facility liaison for IT systems and tools

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency

  • Maintain confidentiality of all personnel and organizational information

  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, and HR departments

  • Support a positive, respectful work environment and effective relationships at all organizational levels

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or office/business management

  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally and accurately

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment preferred

  • Personnel management or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Demonstrated commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use

  • Personal interest or passion for behavioral health or recovery services is a plus

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 / yr
