As an HR Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Providing guidance and counsel to management and employees on company guidelines, employee relations issues, compliance issues, performance management, workforce hiring, and training and development needs
  • Supporting plant management with general HR programs including training, employment law compliance, recruiting, new hire orientation, employee relations, and performance management
  • Assisting leadership teams in improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing department structures and evaluating options; assessing employee climate, morale and effectiveness and developing action steps for improvement
  • Assisting in the acquisition and development of talent to ensure business needs are met
  • Delivering seamless HR support to include but not limited to Employee Relations, Employee Assistance, Total Compensation Resources (Payroll, Benefits, Mobility, etc.), Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, etc.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Master's degree in human resources or higher from an accredited institution
  • Seven (7) years of Human Resource experience
  • One (1) or more years of Human Resource supervisory experience
  • Able to work cross functionally up and down the organization with proven ability to build relationships, establish trust and credibility
  • Can work both independently and in a team, on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate will have unquestionable reputation for discretion, business and personal integrity, judgment, responsiveness, with strong attention to detail.

  • Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work in Indianapolis, IN.
  • Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
  • Relocation: May be authorized
