Compensation: $80,000- $95,000

What You'll Do

As an HR Generalist / HR Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle.

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Manage onboarding, employee development, performance management, and offboarding processes
  • Draft and maintain employment agreements, job descriptions, policies, and HR documentation
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Administer and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration in partnership with finance teams
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

HR Consulting & Advisory Services

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to clients across various industries
  • Assess organizational needs and recommend practical, business-focused HR solutions
  • Conduct HR audits and compliance reviews
  • Develop and implement HR programs, policies, and best practices
  • Support organizational change initiatives, workforce planning, and restructuring projects
  • Help clients build strong workplace cultures and employee engagement strategies

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client organizations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, and employment practices
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft 365, and digital workplace tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and client relationships simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior HR consulting or advisory experience
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification
  • Experience supporting multiple organizations or client accounts
  • Ability to travel throughout the NYC metropolitan area to meet with clients
