The Doe Run Company is seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst to be a technical lead for the Human Resources Information Systems, responsible for maintaining and improving the functionality of HR systems, troubleshooting and problem-solving HRIS issues, and designing and testing all system upgrades and conversions. This position is based out of our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO.
Based in St. Louis, Missouri, The Doe Run Company is a privately held natural resources company and one of the largest lead producers in the Western Hemisphere. This position offers a competitive base pay and is eligible for the Company variable pay (bonus) plan. Benefits start on the first day and include insurance, paid time off, and various customer discount programs.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in HR, Computer Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in HR systems (UKG, ADP, Paycor, etc).
  • HR System implementation and/or migration experience strongly preferred.
  • May consider IT certifications and equivalent experience in IT.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) preferred, or other HR Systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong project management skills, leading multi-site projects.
  • Details and results-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information and provide assistance to employees and retirees.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
  • Knowledge of laws related to benefits, confidentiality, and Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and maintain the configuration of HR systems to ensure efficient business process automation for Timekeeping and core HR System. Primary resource for HRIS problem solving with divisions HR Reps and managers and supervisors.
  • Participate on the team to monitor, maintain and recommend upgrades for electronic HR systems: Ultimate, Bswift, Success Factors and LMS.
  • Assist in configuration of HR and payroll related functions. Testing and validating any upgrades. Administer the system security and maintain documentation. Act as the back-up for payroll processing.
  • Collaborate across the entire organization to support and educate HR and other end users in the effective use of the HR systems, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.
  • Manage interfaces and integrations including benefits, compensation, employee relations and talent management.
  • Create, run and enhance existing reports from all HRIS systems. Provide the Legal Dept with personnel records and data as requested
  • Other duties as assigned.

Environmental Conditions, Physical & Lifting Requirements:
  • Computer, tablet, phone, 10-key calculators, scanner, printers.
  • Regularly exposed to office noises in a standard office setting.
  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, talk, hear; frequently required to expend concentrated attention and clarity of vision for close computer work. Requires clarity of vision and ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Rarely required to lift up to 15 pounds of boxes for open enrollment or mailings management.
