Job description

  • GENERAL SUMMARY
    • We’re seeking an HRIS Data Analyst.  Strong candidates will bring excellent data and analysis skills, critical thinking, business acumen, and subject matter expertise (data management, analytical problem solving, coding, etc.) to this role. An exceptional candidate will be able to think creatively to shape data into highly automated, meaningful, and relevant reporting that is routinely distributed to leaders across different areas of CHKD’s business to help drive informed decision making. Examples of initial success measures include:

      • Manage and maximize the technical components of our current HRIS system;
      • Improve efficiency of HR data operations; and
      • Automate processes and reporting to deliver real-time data to CHKD Management;
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Data Entry & Integrity
      • Maintains all data pertaining to employee records (new hires, transfers, promotions, demotions, personal information, etc…)
      • Supports the integrity of employee records, assuring legal and regulatory compliance.
      • Maintains data maps, integrations, workflows, and cross walks between Symplr and other CHKD information systems.
      • Maintains department process maps and guidelines.
      • Analyzes and ensures data integrity using effective audit tools and practices.
      • Exercises discretion with highly confidential information.
    • Reporting & Analysis
      • Develops and maintains standard reporting and routine data processing/production tasks.
      • Creatively drives solutions for automation and data integrity, where possible.
      • Produces ad hoc reports and analysis to support business and clinical operations across CHKD.
      • Works with People Operations leadership and other CHKD departments to understand and effectively use data and key metrics to improve workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
      • Uses data to support activities, programs, goals, and systems of non-HR departments across the organization (e.g., budgeting, quality/safety initiatives, clinical/workforce productivity, alternative staffing models).
      • Promotes greater utilization and understanding of current and future HR Technology and Analytics capabilities across all teams at CHKD.
    • Customer Service & Communications
      • Communicates with all levels of the organization to understand and meet their current and future workforce data needs; translate technical topics and data into meaningful and actionable information.
      • Identifies and troubleshoot issues and escalate as appropriate.
      • Provides end user support as needed.
      • Participates on ad-hoc projects as needed.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
    • Required Licenses and/or Certifications

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Required Education and Experience
      • 3 years of Human Resource experience maintaining HRIS/HCM records and reporting required.
    • Preferred Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education, experienced and/or training preferred.
      • Experience working in a healthcare provider setting preferred
      • Relevant data visualization or coding certifications preferred
      • Demonstrated ability to transform data into meaningful, actionable metrics preferred.
