Work Type (Onsite):

This position will be based onsite at our Two Harbors, Minnesota, facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving workforce effectiveness and organizational success.
  • Oversee and execute core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and day-to-day HR support.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, proactively addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, employee development, and retention to build a strong, engaged workforce that meets business needs.
  • Drive performance management processes, coaching leaders and employees on goal setting, feedback, and career development.
  • Guide the organization through change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and strong adoption of new processes, structures, and cultural shifts.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws while proactively managing risk.
  • Leverage HR data and key metrics to drive strategic decisions, improve processes, and enhance overall business performance.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 and $115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.

Knowledge/Education:

  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resource experience
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions (talent management, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations) with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Experience leading change initiatives, navigating ambiguity, and supporting organizational transformation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives, influence senior leaders, and drive workforce effectiveness.
  • Skilled in coaching leaders, fostering a high-performance culture, and resolving workplace challenges.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to inform strategy and improve business performance.
