Job description

The Housekeeping Lead plays an instrumental role in ensuring the efficient daily operation of the Housekeeping Department by coordinative timely guest room turnovers, maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, and supporting a positive guest experience. This working lead provides day-to-day directions to the housekeeping team members, assists with room inspections, prioritizes assignments based on occupancy demands, and ensures all rooms and public areas meet established quality standards. The Housekeeping Lead serves as a key liaison between Housekeeping and other departments to promote effective communication, operational efficiency and guest satisfaction while leading by example through active participation in daily housekeeping operations.

Qualifications:

3+ years of hotel or hospitality cleaning experience.

Previous supervisory experience is a plus.

Strong communication, decision-making, coaching and relationship building skills.

Ability to handle pressure situations and exercise good judgement.

Must have basic computer skills, experience with Maestro is a plus.

Ability to stand/walk majority of shift and lift up to 40 lbs in various weather conditions.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including weekends and holidays.
