The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Cruises Brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manager, Hotel Finance reporting to the Director, Celebrity Finance.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for managing the team and supports all aspects of financial and administrative functions for the Hotel Operations team.
Areas of focus include managing forecast, plan, and recurring reporting to team and fleet; identifying opportunities to improve finance reports through detailed analysis and developing enhanced reporting processes where needed (Hotel, OBR, G&A). This person will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the team members in their support functions including training and development.
This position requires outstanding communication and analytical skills (including financial analysis), and business acumen. Effective communication to Senior Management and the respective operational groups is critical to the success of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help manager and support team managing all Hotel P&L lines with yearly expenses over $550M.
  • Support and become a Finance partner to operational leadership on the Hotel teams.
  • Identify and develop analytical tools being scalable to support efficient business growth and reports to expedite Finance analysis and communication/reporting to Senior Management.
  • Create and maintain accurate management report and analysis for Hotel Expenses.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to produce accurate forecasts, record, and analyze actual performance, identifying plan of action to address variances.
  • Oversee the development of ship performance reports and targets on a quarterly basis.
  • Support brand Finance and Strategy teams in all areas of Hotel expenses for the creation of the yearly Strategic Plan.
  • Conduct analyses including volume/rate relationships. Analyze financial data and develop profit optimization strategies with the operational team.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing benchmark reports for operating groups.
  • Responsible for "special project" initiatives with senior management audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to continue to implement new technologies to support efficiencies in the finance areas and in support of the operational areas for the brand.
  • Assist in timely operational and financial decision making.
  • Work in tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • B.A in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Five to eight years' experience related to financial or business analysis. Cruise or Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel User.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics and Visualization software such as Power BI.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize.
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations along with strong operational focus.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
