We are seeking a dependable and hospitality-focused individual to support our morning dining service by preparing breakfast items, maintaining a welcoming guest experience, and keeping the service area clean and organized. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food presentation, and understands the importance of friendly, attentive service. Job Summary
The Breakfast Cook/Breakfast Attendant position is responsible for preparing a high quality breakfast for hotel guests. This position also assists with set up and breakdown of breakfast service area and assists the Chef with additional food preparation as needed. This is a back of house and front of house service oriented position that requires good interpersonal communication skills and friendly professionalism while attending to guest requests.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Breakfast Cook
  • Prepare all menu food items according to standard recipes and as specified to ensure consistency of product.
  • Check and control the proper storage, cutting, portion control and quality of products.
  • Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation for work areas to comply with Health Department regulations and hotel standards.
  • Thoroughly clean work area at end of shift.
  • Prep items for the following day.
  • Serve guests from a limited buffet.
  • Display awareness and compliance with hotel's security, safety, emergency and energy procedures.
  • Manage morning food deliveries.
  • Assist Chef with food prep work and dishwashing as needed for banquets
  • Performs other duties as assigned. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Breakfast Attendant
  • Set up of breakfast area
  • Restocking and maintaining cleanliness of breakfast area
  • Serving breakfast to guests
  • Breakdown and clean up of breakfast area
  • Washing dishes, pots and pans
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Sanitize all cleaning tools including mops, brooms, etc, at end of shift
  • Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and fellow staff members
  • Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
