Your Impact as a Livewell Hospital Manager

Livewell Hospital Managers are builders. In this role, you will help launch, grow, and stabilize a brand-new hospital from the ground up. This means creating the culture, team, and operational rhythm that define long-term success. This role requires grit, energy, and a strong drive to grow a business in close partnership with your Founding DVM and regional leadership. You aren't just managing a clinic; you are establishing a community landmark.

Your Impact Will Include:
  • Building the Foundation: You will establish hospital culture, standards, and expectations from day one, implementing Livewell operational playbooks and partnering with the Founding DVM to align medical and business strategy.
  • Driving Growth & Community Engagement: You will develop and execute local marketing strategies, building relationships with community organizations and local businesses to champion Livewell’s brand presence and drive visit trends.
  • Recruiting & Developing a High-Performing Team: You will lead the interviewing and hiring process for all support roles, building a cohesive, growth-oriented team culture and holding teammates accountable to high performance and behavioral standards.
  • Owning the Business: You will manage P&L performance, labor costs, and inventory controls. You will identify and execute opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Delivering an Exceptional Client Experience: You will create systems that support hospitality and efficiency, ensuring high-quality service aligned with Livewell standards and proactively resolving client concerns.
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a strong growth mindset.
  • Demonstrated grit, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguous start-up dynamics.
  • Experience building and developing teams with a positive, culture-focused leadership style.
  • Willingness to learn and own financial performance (P&L, labor, inventory).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to balance execution and strategy.
  • Previous management experience in veterinary, medical, retail, or service environments is preferred.
  • De novo or start-up experience (specifically within veterinary medicine) is strongly preferred.
