Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience in healthcare administration, quality improvement, compliance, and operations? Care Alliance Health Center is seeking a motivated Healthcare Administration Intern to support key initiatives across our Quality and Operations departments while learning the inner workings of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
This unpaid summer internship offers valuable exposure to healthcare quality programs, performance improvement initiatives, operational project management, and the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build practical experience in a mission-driven healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
Quality Improvement & Compliance
  • Support quality improvement initiatives related to UDS, HRSA, and payer program requirements
  • Assist with identifying and tracking care gaps through EPIC and payer portals
  • Maintain documentation and tracking systems using SharePoint and other quality platforms
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and performance monitoring activities
  • Support quality reporting and compliance-related initiatives
Operations & Project Coordination
  • Assist with operational projects by tracking timelines, action items, and deliverables
  • Support facilities-related projects and vendor coordination
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and tracking tools
  • Assist with inventory management and supply organization
