Job description

About Veho

Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.

We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.

Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.

To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.

About the Role

Veho is redefining last-mile delivery and we're looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition who will do the same for how we hire. This isn't a "keep the lights on" recruiting role. We're looking for a builder: someone who sees TA as a competitive weapon, can translate business strategy into hiring action, and has the conviction to raise the talent bar, even when it's hard.

As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will own Veho's recruiting strategy end-to-end, from employer brand to offer close. You'll lead a high-performing recruiting team, build the systems and operating cadence to hire at Veho speed, and partner directly with our executive team to make hiring a true P0 business priority. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a mix of strategic vision and operational excellence, with regular interface with Veho's executive team.

The ideal candidate is ready to dig in and redesign our processes with a strong focus on AI. You'll come to Veho to reinvent the function, not maintain it.

What Success Looks Like
  • Meet the annual hiring plan with the provided headcount

  • Reduce time-to-fill for critical Ops, Tech, and Corporate roles

  • Establish hiring as a true P0 business priority, with executives actively engaged and accountable

  • Demonstrably improve quality of hire, evidenced by stronger 90- and 180-day performance, reduced 90-day attrition, and faster ramp times

  • Build a consistent, outcome-driven hiring process used across every function at Veho

  • Establish a clear metrics framework that drives action—not just reporting—and is reviewed regularly with leadership

  • Position TA internally as a strategic partner that accelerates execution and raises the talent bar

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Veho's recruiting strategy across all functions, with a sharp focus on bar-raising talent

  • Use data insights to improve recruiting processes, forecasting, and decision-making

  • Implement and continuously optimize tools, systems, SLAs, and workflows that create an exceptional candidate experience

  • Enforce a consistent, structured hiring process across Veho with clear stage-level accountability

  • Coach, develop, and performance-manage a high-performing recruiting team that scales with Veho's growth

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and sourcing strategies

What You Bring
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience at fast-growing technology companies (ideally Series B–D), with 3+ years in a leadership role

  • Proven success building talent density: a track record of bringing in high performers who up-level teams and raise the bar

  • Strong experience in technical and executive hiring

  • Direct experience working with and influencing C-Suite stakeholders

  • Ownership of tool and AI adoption in a recruiting context

  • LATAM hiring experience (a plus, not a requirement)

Compensation:

$215,000-$240,000

Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. No matter the location, or the role, every Veho teammate shares one galvanizing mission: driving commerce forward with a customer-centric delivery experience that's built for the modern era. We live by our leadership principles. We're looking for team members who are: obsessed over the customer, first-principles thinkers, builders at heart, intrinsically driven to win, and owners biased toward action.

Join us in building the future of ecommerce logistics and in doing the work of our lifetime!

All California applicants, please reference our California Applicant Privacy Notice located here.

The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and other benefits such as a 401 (k) and unlimited PTO for exempt-level roles.

About Veho

Sourced by ZipRecruiter

Veho's mission is to revolutionize the world of package delivery by creating exceptional experiences for customers and drivers. For too long, parcel delivery companies have focused solely on efficiencies and cost-management. Veho focuses on the end-customer. As the first technology company of its kind, Veho replaces the old delivery trucks with a platform of crowdsourced drivers and a network of hyper-local delivery stations. We partner with some of the most recognized consumer brands such as Warby Parker and Hello Fresh to provide an incredible experience with every delivery, and give customers control on how, when and where their package is delivered. Customers LOVE us. Despite growing at a record-speed over the past two years, we maintain an incredibly high customer satisfaction rating of 4.9/5 stars, and an unprecedented on-time delivery rate of 99.9% - far above every other company in the country. In short, we are building the logistics platform of the future. Veho is backed by former top executives and board members at Uber, FedEx, UPS, eBay and Amazon, three former public company CEOs, early investors in Lyft and Instacart, as well as prominent venture capital firms General Catalyst, Tiger Global, and Softbank. We are a team of leaders who are passionate about building an incredible company that will change the face of this industry.
