General Profile:Manage the day-to-day service and maintenance of FIB, TEM, SEM and other supporting equipment and provide direct supervision to technicians, engineers and individual contributors (jobs that could be on the C, O, T or B/E band). Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in metrology equipment, electro-mechanical, optical and chemical delivery systems and the supporting equipment such as coater, chiller, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities

Hire, train and develop a team of technicians to perform tool installation, preventative maintenance, as well as any necessary troubleshooting and repair, and manage consumables of metrology tools and supporting equipment.

Actively participate in tool installation planning with Safety and Design teams and OEM vendors. Solve issues, or work with cross functional teams to address any install and logistics issues identified.

Own tool uptime, PM schedule and service contracts for metrology tool platforms

Track and report operational key results (OKR) such as tool health, tool availability, MTBF, and MTTR

Maintain SOPs of preventive maintenance, training records and safety documentation for hardware team

Procure and manage consumable inventory.

Create fishbone diagram of tool failures and SPC charts of tool stability

Drive continuous service improvement and escalation with OEM supplier

Understand SEMI standards and cleanroom protocols

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
