About the Position San Francisco Bay Ferry, California Grants Manager The Grants Manager plays a critical role in supporting the agency's financial stewardship and long-term strategic goals by managing the full lifecycle of grant administration. This position is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, coordinating grant applications, overseeing compliance and reporting requirements, and monitoring the financial performance of awarded funds. The Grants Manager also supports capital budget development, helps manage emergency grant programs, and serves as a key resource for grant-related guidance across the organization.

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, this position works closely with internal departments, external funding agencies, and agency leadership to help secure and manage funding that advances agency priorities. The role combines strategic planning, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination to ensure grant-funded programs are administered effectively and in alignment with organizational goals. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and proactive grants professional who brings strong experience in grant administration, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, preferably within the public sector or a similarly regulated environment.

They are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
