Job description

Lincoln County School District is accepting on-line applications for a Graduation Coach for Taft 7-12.
The primary purpose of this position is to support middle grades through 10th grade students in positive attendance, behavior, and grades.  This position will promote positive school attendance, provide consultation and training to parents and district personnel, participate in school-wide data teams, and support students in being on-track to graduate.
Essential job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:



  • Participates in school/community collaborative efforts to improve services and support to students with attendance problems.
  • Serves as a liaison between school, parents, community agencies to support students.
  • Provides consultation and training to school staff related to best practices for encouraging regular attendance.
  • Provides intervention services to children and families regarding behavior, attendance, and grades.
  • Provides own transportation to schools, family homes, and agencies.
  • Attends school level meetings (SST, Data, FRT) to provide information and supports to students and staff.
  • Coordinates with community partners to support students and families.
  • Coordinates academic supports for students with school staff.
  • Meets one-one with students and families.
  • Sets goals with students and coordinates students' own goal setting.
  • Develops positive relationships with parents and staff regarding graduation outcomes.
  • Provides professional development to staff.
  • Coordinates data regarding students' behavior, attendance, and grades.
  • Collects and shares relevant data regarding on-track status for students.
  • Develops and leads the 9th grade success team (or other school level freshman focused team).
  • Creates processes for regular review of student attendance, behavior, and grades with students, staff, and parents.
  • Coordinate and implement interventions for students around attendance, behavior, and grades.

Qualified applicants will be asked for an interview and must provide a resume and at least 2 letters of recommendation. Upon selection, employees will be required to complete a fingerprint and background check.  
Starting Salary: $25.51 - $28.16/hour (2025-2026 classified rate, currently under negotiations).  
7 hour per day position
This is typically a 10-month, school year position, with occasional hours for training and workshops during the summer.
