Allied Universal is actively recruiting currently sworn, non retired Police Officers to join our Company Police Force in North Carolina.

This is your opportunity to work with a highly trained, state compliant private police agency that values professionalism, advanced training, and public safety.


Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $34.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:30 AM - 05:30 PMFri08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years of age You must be an active police officer not retired
  • High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
  • North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Attend required periodic training sessions and seminars, maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms
  • Able to:
    • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
    • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
    • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
    • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Responsibilities:

  • Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order and public safety.
  • Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions and arrests suspects; collects and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies; assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; and chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested.
  • Attends required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintains required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
  • perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.
