About GTT Commercial Tires

GTT Commercial Tires helps trucking companies keep trucks rolling and cash flowing. Named an Inc. 5000 business 4x with over 3,000 5-star Google reviews, we serve commercial trucking customers across Virginia.
Our mission starts with hiring extraordinary talent. We don’t just fill open roles—we hire for impact, unimpeachable character, and long-term growth.
The Role

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to own our talent pipeline, source top-tier candidates, and build the teams that drive our company forward.
This is not a passive “wait for applicants to apply” position. We are seeking an active networker and talent hunter who thrives on active sourcing, candidate engagement, clear communication, and building strong hiring pipelines daily.
What’s In It For You

  • Earning Potential: Competitive base salary + performance incentives to reward top-tier hiring outcomes.
  • Recruit for a Proven Brand: With 3,000+ 5-star reviews and 4x Inc. 5000 recognition, telling our story and engaging potential candidates comes naturally.
  • Strong Culture & Values: Join a team grounded in Competitive Greatness, Sincere Candor, and Unimpeachable Character.
  • Tools & Strategy: Direct access to platforms like Indeed Smart Sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, and streamlined ATS workflows to help you hit targets fast.
  • Real Impact: Directly shape our workforce by recruiting skilled technicians, sales representatives, service advisors, and leadership roles.
  • Career Growth: Expand your leadership responsibilities and scale our recruiting strategies as GTT continues expanding across Virginia.
What You Will Do

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting across open requisitions from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Proactively source candidates using recruitment platforms (Indeed Smart Sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS databases) to build deep candidate pipelines.
  • Partner with store leaders and hiring managers to define role profiles, refine descriptions, and set realistic hiring strategies.
  • Screen candidates for skills, values alignment, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain clear, real-time candidate notes, pipeline statuses, and next steps in our ATS/CRM.
  • Schedule interviews, gather hiring manager feedback, and help execute structured hiring decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for every candidate through transparent, timely communication.
What Success Looks Like

  • Speed & Quality: You hit or exceed time-to-fill targets while maintaining strong offer acceptance rates.
  • Pipeline Depth: You build active candidate networks before hiring needs become urgent.
  • Organization: Your ATS and pipeline notes are accurate, structured, and up-to-date.
  • Trust & Value: Candidates and internal hiring partners look to you as a trusted advisor in recruitment strategy.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of full lifecycle recruitment or talent acquisition experience preferred (agency or in-house).
  • Tools: Proficiency with ATS platforms, Indeed Smart Sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, or CRM systems.
  • Proactive Mindset: Comfortable making cold calls, outreach, and engaging passive candidates.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong candidate assessment abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in commercial tires, automotive, logistics, or trades recruitment is a plus, but not required if you are quick to learn and coachable.
Schedule & Benefits

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (with flexibility based on hiring needs).
  • Benefits:
    • Medical insurance with company participation.
    • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.
    • Training, mentorship, and professional development support.
