INTERNAL AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN / APPRENTICE – JP HARVEY CHEVROLET
Clarksville, Texas

JP Harvey Chevrolet is now hiring an Internal Automotive Technician / Apprentice to join our growing service team. We are looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of hands-on automotive experience who wants to build a long-term career in the dealership world.

This is a strong opportunity for an entry-level technician with mechanical ability, a solid work ethic, and the desire to learn from experienced professionals. If you are looking for a place where you can grow, get certified, and move up the ladder, we want to talk to you.

PAY:
$15 to $18 per hour based on experience

SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform light mechanical work and basic repairs
Assist with inspections, maintenance, and reconditioning work
Complete oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, fluid services, and other entry-level service work
Support senior technicians and learn dealership service procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow dealership and manufacturer standards
Accurately document work performed

REQUIREMENTS:
1 to 3 years of automotive technician or mechanical experience preferred
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
Ability to perform light mechanical work with minimal supervision
Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Valid driver’s license required
Dealership experience is a plus, but not required
