Advanced Automotive Technician

We are a family owned business operating Midas Franchises dedicated to providing quality service in inspection, diagnosis, and repair-leveraging ASE Certifications and years of hands-on experience. As we expand our store count and grow each shop, we're looking for Advanced Automotive Technicians who want to get in on the ground floor and help us develop best practices for the future.
Responsibilities
As a Midas Advanced Automotive Technician, you'll be responsible for a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:
  • Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
  • Tires and tire repair
  • Heating and air conditioning
  • Steering and suspension
  • Belts and hoses
  • Radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Batteries, starting, and charging
  • Brakes and brake repair
  • Oil changes
  • Check engine light diagnostics
  • Mufflers and exhaust services
  • Visual safety and courtesy inspections

You'll work independently and collaboratively, helping us create an environment of success as we grow.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to repair vehicles independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge in brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
  • Track record of high personal productivity
  • Adherence to safety and environmental standards
  • Experience with shop equipment (lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, scan tools)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus
  • State-specific auto repair certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ownership of tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
  • Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
