Job description

Join ENTRUST's Power Generation group as a part-time or full-time Sr. Consulting Engineer focused on supporting generator engineering activities. This position offers remote and hybrid schedule options with minimal travel required.
EN Power Generation offers independent third-party engineering solutions to global power providers and plant operators. Power Generation's service offerings cover conventional and renewable power, as well as compliance, encompassing plant conceptual design through operation and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and key resource for power plant consulting projects, focusing on electrical generators, exciters, and auxiliaries. You will interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to ensure schedule and hour targets are met or exceeded. Preparing for client meetings and leading discussions will be part of your responsibilities, as well as demonstrating your technical expertise in generator engineering to execute projects independently. You will assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions, while also interfacing with industry organizations such as EPRI. Additionally, you will be involved in field project execution, with travel requirements up to approximately 10-15%.
