Job description

This progressive, academic health care system in central New York is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join their Family Practice/gender wellness center, with the option to participate as a fellow in a one-year, transgender health training program. Located about an hour from Albany, the location is home to a university and a college. Join an established group of four Family Medicine and three Mental Health providers providing gender affirming care in a rural setting.
Provide primary care for cisgender and transgender youth/adults across the lifespan.  Salary up to $347K.  Sign on bonus up to $100K.  Residency stipend up to $45K.  Provide evidence-based, quality primary care to cisgender and TGD youth and adults, including the provision of gender affirming hormone therapy and pubertal suppression.  Engage in efforts to ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in healthcare.  Practice cultural responsiveness and cultural humility.  J-1 and H1B Visa candidates welcome to apply.
