    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    As a Total Rewards Partner, your main focus will be to partner with the business to deliver and govern Total Rewards by executing compensation and benefits processes, ensuring global alignment, and supporting leaders with insights, data, and expert guidance.

    ย You secure consistent, compliant, and competitive reward practices while collaborating across People, Finance, and global TR teams.

    This on-site role reports into our People Business Partner and is based out of New York Support Office.

    A Day in the Life

    Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*

    Rewards Strategy, Execution & Compliance

    • You act as a rewards partner for the sales market, ensuring alignment with global total rewards strategy and sales market operational relevance
    • You lead the execution of rewards programs at sales market level, covering compensation, benefits, mobility and other specialist areas of global total rewards
    • You support the implementation and communication of pay structures, and compensation principles across the Sales Market
    • You oversee the annual rewards processes (salary review, incentive planning, budgeting, market benchmarking) for the Sales Market
    • You support on the design and implementation of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
    • You assist in monitoring changes in benefits-related laws and regulations and help ensure programs remain compliant with applicable requirements in the U.S. and Puerto Rico
    • You manage relationships with benefits vendors, including supporting negotiations, coordinating communications, and monitoring service delivery against agreed standards; act as an escalation point to the benefits administration team for vendor-related issues
    • You monitor the execution of governance processes for benefits administration, including documentation, reporting, and audits
    • You drive consistency and compliance with global policies, ensuring all local practices follow both global frameworks and legal requirements

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • You partner with people leaders and business stakeholders to support organization-specific reward strategies and decision-making
    • You collaborate with Finance and People functions to facilitate effective cost planning and accurate compensation data management in global people systems
    • You provide expert advice and training to people teams and senior leaders on complex compensation and benefits topics
    • You collaborate with Continent Rewards Leads and Global Total Rewards

    Data & Continuous Improvement

    • You analyze internal and external market data to maintain competitive and equitable pay practices at the sales market
    • You contribute to the continuous improvement of global rewards processes, tools, and data quality
    Qualifications

    We are looking for people with...

    • University degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
    • Proven experience in compensation and benefits
    • Experience supporting benefits programs, including supervising plan administration, implementation, and systems utilization
    • Experience with compliance related to employee benefits, including knowledge of labor laws and regulationsย pertaining toย USA,ย Canadaย and Puerto Ricoย desired
    • Strong analytical, advisory, and project management skills
    • Proven experience working with senior HR and business stakeholders
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills
    • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
