YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We're looking for a Rubber Process Engineer to join our Mold Technology Center at Victaulic's Global Headquarters in Easton, PA. In this role, you'll design, test, and optimize the rubber molds, press equipment, and molding processes that keep Victaulic's global manufacturing network running efficiently. You'll work closely with product development engineers and Mold Technology Center personnel to troubleshoot process issues, reduce scrap, and drive continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to shape rubber processing technology and training across Victaulic's worldwide molding facilities, with travel to support that reach.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN
  • Design, test, and inspect rubber molds and press equipment to verify critical product characteristics
  • Drive process optimization across rubber processing operations
  • Investigate and implement new rubber molding processes and technology
  • Prepare specifications for process and manufacturing equipment
  • Write and update routing and processing procedures
  • Partner with product development engineers to improve product design and processes
  • Troubleshoot rubber processes to increase productivity and decrease scrap
  • Maintain mold specifications by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming equipment, and replacing worn tools
  • Lead safety training for Mold Technology Center personnel, including weekly safety toolbox talks
  • Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift to move materials safely
  • Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance and keep the work area organized and clean

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 3-5 years of experience in rubber molding processes
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing rubber manufacturing processes
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching around moving machinery and equipment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 3-4 times a year for training and visits to Victaulic molding facilities

COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for the full benefits package described above.
