Job description

The President of the Extrusion Division provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership for a global rubber extrusion business. This executive will drive growth, profitability, operational excellence, and cross‑regional alignment across multiple plants and countries. With full P&L responsibility, the President ensures that financial targets, quality standards, safety metrics, and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded. The role requires deep industry experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to lead complex, multinational manufacturing operations.


The President of the Extrusion Division provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership for a global rubber extrusion business.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a global business strategy aligned with the company’s long‑term objectives.
  • Lead multi‑country expansion initiatives, evaluating new markets, technologies, and product opportunities.
  • Drive innovation in extrusion processes, materials, and automation to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Partner with executive leadership on mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures impacting the extrusion business.
  • Financial Management (P&L Ownership)
  • Own full P&L for the global Extrusion Division, ensuring delivery of revenue, EBITDA, and cash‑flow targets.
  • Monitor and optimize financial performance through detailed analysis of cost drivers, margin performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop annual budgets, capital expenditure plans, and long‑range forecasts for all extrusion operations.
  • Ensure financial transparency, discipline, and alignment across all regional and plant-level teams.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple plants in different regions, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Implement best‑in‑class manufacturing practices, including Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize global supply chain, materials management, and logistics to reduce cost and improve responsiveness.
  • Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance across all operating countries.
  • Commercial & Customer Leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to develop customer‑centric product strategies.
  • Strengthen key customer relationships and help secure long‑term contracts and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure successful launch and scale-up of new products and extrusion technologies across global facilities.
  • People Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing global leadership team.
  • Shape a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety excellence across all locations.
  • Lead talent development, succession planning, and workforce capability initiatives globally.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in rubber manufacturing or related industrial sectors.
  • Extensive experience leading multi‑site or multi‑country operations.
  • Proven track record of owning PNL of significant scale and driving financial performance.
  • Strong background in extrusion processes, materials, and industrial manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement and operational excellence systems.
  • Division revenue growth and profitability (EBITDA, gross margin, operating margin).
