POSITION OBJECTIVES

We are actively and urgently seeking a highly skilled Payroll / Billing Coordinator to support critical payroll and billing operations using Paycom. This role ensures accurate, timely payroll processing and billing reconciliation while maintaining full compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to step in quickly and contribute immediately to financial accuracy and operational continuity.


ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-priority, immediate hiring need supporting essential airport operations. The Payroll / Billing Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while also maintaining accurate billing processes for operational and client accounts.

This position requires a strong sense of urgency, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment where deadlines are critical and accuracy is non-negotiable.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process bi-weekly and supplemental payroll using Paycom with accuracy and urgency
  • Ensure timely payroll tax filings (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly) in full compliance with regulations
  • Maintain and update job codes, pay rates, and departmental data within payroll systems
  • Respond quickly to payroll inquiries from station leadership and resolve issues efficiently
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client and vendor billing concerns in a timely manner
  • Coordinate closely with Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate billing execution
  • Perform payroll and billing audits to ensure compliance and internal controls
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting deadlines

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3–5+ years of payroll and billing experience required
  • Proven hands-on experience with Paycom (required)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and payroll/accounting system proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy under pressure
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • High level of integrity when handling confidential financial data

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3–5 years of payroll processing and billing experience
  • Strong background in payroll compliance, reconciliation, and financial reporting
  • Experience in airport, logistics, or high-volume operational environments strongly preferred
