Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Legal Secretary to join our on-site team in Sherman Oaks, CA. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for a range of administrative and legal support tasks, including preparing and managing legal documents, assisting attorneys, performing clerical duties, and managing schedules.

Qualifications

  • Experience in legal procedures, legal document preparation, and knowledge of legal terminology
  • Schedule hearings, meetings, depositions, conference calls, assist with travel arrangements
  • Enter time and handle billable hours for assigned attorneys
  • File/e-file and serve court documents and related correspondence, memorandum, pleadings, and related documents
  • Proficient in legal software and general office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Bachelor's degree, legal assistant certification, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards

Pay Range

  • $50,000 - $75,000
