Job Summary
The Intern will have the opportunity to participate and learn about the healthcare business by focusing on a designated area of interest which could include, but is not limited to, hospitality, food services, information systems, and various clinical and administrative areas. The Intern will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of healthcare and more specifically patient experience and customer/patient satisfaction through a variety of assignments such as shadowing staff in the field, assisting with front office desk duties, attending program meetings, attending training's, handling projects and/or delivering quality administrative support, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of PC/software applications and word processing skills.
- Prefer effective customer service skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone.
- Prefer a willingness to learn.
Preferred Education
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
