Familiarity with office management software such as Microsoft Office Suite, reservation systems, and multi-line telephone systems is typically required. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a customer service mindset help you create positive first impressions and handle inquiries effectively. These skills are crucial for ensuring smooth daily operations and providing outstanding support to both guests and staff in a front office environment.

Is 30 an hour good for an intern?

For a Front Office Intern, $30 an hour is considered a high rate, as internships typically pay lower wages or stipends. However, pay rates vary based on location, industry, and the intern's experience level, so it's important to compare with standard internship wages in your area and field.
