The Strategic Communications Specialist supports, shapes, and executes integrated communication strategies for assigned projects, audiences, and business areas. Operating as a senior professional, this role partners across teams to gather inputs, ensure accuracy, and delivertimely, high-quality communications that align with organizational goals, culture, and brand standards. Leveraging audience insights, business context, data analytics, and emerging technologies-including AI-enabled communication tools-the specialistoptimizescommunication effectiveness and stakeholder impact. The roleprovidesconsultative guidance to leaders,identifiescommunication risks and opportunities, and balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, shape, and execute communications strategies for assigned initiatives, audiences, or business areas.

  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders toidentifycommunication opportunities, risks, and desired outcomes; serve as a consultative communications partner as needed.

  • Create communication plans, messaging frameworks, and content that drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

  • Provide counsel on stakeholder communications, message positioning, channelselection, and communication effectiveness.

  • Analyze communication performance, stakeholder feedback, engagement metrics, and audience sentiment to inform recommendations and actionable insights.

  • Evaluate andleverageemerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve communication quality, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Establish and promote best practices for AI use and continuously identify opportunities to modernize communication approaches and enhance stakeholder experiences.

  • Coordinate messaging across teams and channels; manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities with strong attention to detail.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders, mentor junior team members informally, and coordinatecommunicationsworkstreams without direct authority.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Progressive experience in strategic communications, employee communications, corporate communications, public relations, or related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting communication strategies that create measurable business outcomes; portfoliodemonstratingstrategic work.

  • Preferred: Experience supporting executive leadership communications; using communication analytics to drive decisions;leveragingAI-enabled communication technologies and workflow automation.

  • Preferred: Exposure to organizational change andtransformationcommunications; crisis, issues, or reputation management; and experience in corporate, consulting, or agency environments supporting large-scale organizations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strategic communications consulting, planning, and execution.

  • Communication measurement, analytics, data storytelling, and insight generation.

  • Basic understanding of AI-assisted communication technologies and digital communication platforms.
