Job description

Part-Time | Contract Position | Remote-Friendly | $25/hr

At Brandi Herrman Communications (BHC), we support mission-driven organizations that protect land, serve communities, honor veterans, and build better businesses. We’re their behind-the-scenes crew—writing, designing, posting, emailing, strategizing, and bringing their stories to life.

We’re looking for a Creative Communications Specialist—a flexible, curious, multi-talented communicator who can jump in and support our clients across a variety of creative and digital marketing tasks.

This is a contract position to start, with flexible hours and project-based assignments. For the right fit, there is potential to grow into a W2 employee role if desired.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part content creator, part digital doer—working across a range of mission-aligned clients:

  • Write emails, social media posts, blogs, and website copy
  • Design graphics using Canva (or Adobe, if that’s your thing)
  • Build and schedule email campaigns
  • Update content in WordPress and other platforms
  • Manage and schedule social media content
  • Assist with Google Ads (if you know it—or are ready to learn)

Who You Are

  • A strong writer with a clear, engaging voice
  • Experienced with tools like Canva, email platforms, and schedulers
  • Organized, adaptable, and not afraid to ask questions
  • Curious and creative—you like problem-solving and variety
  • Passionate about helping mission-driven clients tell their stories well

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Meaningful work for organizations that make a difference
  • Creative variety—no two clients (or days) are the same
  • Flexible schedule and mostly remote setup
  • Room to grow—with potential for employee status if it’s a good fit

To Apply:

Send an email explaining why you like being a jack or jill of all trades and how you fit into that type of structure. Also include some examples of your work, please!
