Position Summary
The Senior Compliance & Fiduciary Services Analyst supports retirement plan regulatory compliance, fiduciary oversight, and operational governance activities related to retirement plan administration and fiduciary services. Working closely with the Director of Regulatory Disclosures and Senior Director of Regulatory Oversight, this role supports the implementation and ongoing administration of the firmโs 3(16) fiduciary services program, including governance documentation, operational monitoring, compliance support, and related fiduciary service functions. The role also supports document amendment processes, plan termination and exiting client workflows, and other retirement plan compliance initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions
โข Support the Director of Regulatory Disclosures and Senior Director of Regulatory Oversight with fiduciary governance and retirement plan compliance initiatives
โข Support the ongoing administration of the firmโs 3(16) fiduciary services program and related fiduciary governance processes
โข Support fiduciary oversight and monitoring activities for retirement plans for which the firm provides fiduciary or administrative services
โข Monitor retirement plan operations and administrative processes to help ensure alignment with plan documents, ERISA requirements, IRS regulations, DOL guidance, fiduciary procedures, and internal operational standards
โข Support fiduciary review processes, governance workflows, operational monitoring activities, and fiduciary reporting functions
โข Maintain fiduciary governance documentation, policies, procedures, operational records, fiduciary review documentation, and related governance materials
โข Identify and escalate operational compliance issues, fiduciary risks, and procedural deficiencies and assist with implementation of corrective actions and process improvements
โข Assist with implementation and ongoing maintenance of fiduciary controls, governance procedures, and operational compliance workflows
โข Manage the document amendment processes, including tracking and cross-functional coordination
โข Assist with the preparation, review, and coordination of custom amendments, plan documentation, and related compliance materials
โข Manage plan termination and exiting client processes, including workflow coordination, documentation management, issue resolution, and communication with internal stakeholders and external parties
โข Partner with internal teams including operations, compliance, legal, document services, sales, and technology to support fiduciary oversight, amendment management, regulatory compliance initiatives, and operational processes
โข Provide compliance and fiduciary services support to internal business partners regarding retirement plan operational and regulatory matters
โข Assist with preparation of reports, meeting materials, communications, fiduciary documentation, governance records, and operational reporting
โข Support quality assurance and operational review activities to help ensure consistency with regulatory, fiduciary, and organizational standards
โข Assist with process improvement initiatives related to fiduciary governance, amendment management, plan termination workflows, compliance monitoring, and retirement plan administration processes
โข Coordinate with internal departments to research and resolve operational, fiduciary, and compliance-related scenarios
โข Participate in additional retirement plan regulatory compliance and governance projects as assigned
โข Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
โข Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations related to qualified retirement plans
โข Understanding of retirement plan operations, fiduciary governance, compliance processes, and retirement plan documentation requirements
โข Familiarity with 3(16) fiduciary services and fiduciary governance processes preferred
โข Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
โข Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment
โข Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
โข Excellent written and verbal communication skills
โข Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
โข Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate issues appropriately
โข Strong organizational and workflow coordination skills
โข Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
โข Experience with Salesforce and retirement plan administration systems preferred
Experience
โข 5+ years of progressive experience in retirement plan compliance, fiduciary services, retirement plan administration, or related industry experience required
โข 4+ years of experience working with qualified retirement plans and ERISA regulations required
โข Experience supporting fiduciary governance, 3(16) services, plan amendments, or plan termination processes preferred
โข Experience coordinating cross-functional operational or compliance initiatives preferred
โข Client-facing or internal stakeholder support experience preferred
Education
โข Bachelorโs degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certifications
โข QKA or other industry designation preferred

Whatโs in it for you Package
This role will have a base salary range of $70,000-90,000 Please know, this is the base range only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for this role. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
