Job description

Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for a UKG Pro Benefits Consultant (PlanSource Certified) to work remotely for our direct client, a leading NJ-based North American insurance brokerage company.


Role: UKG Pro Benefits Consultant (PlanSource Certified) - Remote

Part-time: Approximately 10-15 hours/week (flexible schedule)

Duration: Project-based (Open Enrollment Season)


Overview: We are seeking a Certified UKG Pro Benefits Consultant to lead clients through complex Open Enrollment cycles. This project-based role requires deep expertise in UKG Pro Benefits Administration powered by PlanSource. As a true consultant, you will take ownership of the client relationship, architecting and configuring benefits solutions that ensure accurate, compliant, and seamless enrollment experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the lead consultant and technical architect for clients utilizing UKG Pro Benefits Administration (powered by PlanSource).

- Consult with client leadership to gather Open Enrollment requirements, review carrier file specifications, and design system configurations.

- Execute end-to-end system configuration within the PlanSource/UKG Pro environment, including plan builds, rate changes, and eligibility rules.

- Lead rigorous testing phases, including EDI carrier file testing, payroll deductions validation, and UAT.

- Identify potential integration or data flow issues between PlanSource and UKG Pro, providing proactive solutions.

- Deliver executive-level status updates and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.


Required Qualifications:

- Mandatory: Must hold an active certification in UKG Pro Benefits Administration / PlanSource.

- Extensive experience working as an external consultant, successfully managing multiple client projects simultaneously.

- Deep technical and functional expertise in UKG Pro Benefits Administration powered by PlanSource.

- Strong background in EDI carrier connections, payroll deduction mapping, and benefits compliance.

- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, project-based environment with minimal oversight.
