Overview:

INTECON is seeking a eLearning Developer that creates digital instructional content and training materials for the Special Tactics Training Squadron curriculum. This role supports SOF mission readiness by developing technology-based learning solutions that complement hands-on tactical training. The developer works in an office environment to produce eLearning products that meet DoD instructional standards and address the specialized training needs of Special Operations Forces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop eLearning modules and interactive training materials for STTS program of instruction curriculum
  • Create instructional content covering topics including radio communications, airborne operations, weapons systems, land navigation, and tactical procedures
  • Design and develop multimedia instructional products using approved eLearning development tools and platforms
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (instructors) to translate tactical training requirements into effective eLearning solutions
  • Ensure all eLearning products meet DoD instructional technology standards and accessibility requirements
  • Maintain and update existing eLearning content based on curriculum changes and user feedback
  • Test and validate eLearning modules for functionality and instructional effectiveness
  • Support integration of eLearning products with Government learning management systems
  • Document development processes and maintain version control for all instructional products
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Education or Psychology
  • Minimum five (5) years working with Department of Defense in Instructional Technology
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of computers including Internet, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Windows
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required base access credentials
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
  • Familiarity with military training environments and SOF operations
  • Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI standards and learning management system integration
  • Experience developing training content for classified environments
  • Background in adult learning theory and instructional systems design (ISD)
  • Multimedia production skills including video editing, graphics design, or animation
