job purpose:ย 

The Sr Franchise Operations Manager will be a thought partner to the Fairlife sales team in each region, the Coca-Cola retail teams, Bottlers, Customers, and other partners to build and manage sales and commercial functions within the market focused primarily on the DSD products within the Fairlife portfolio. They will act as a key Franchise partner, support customer activity, and participate in multiple functions with our bottling partners in commercial routines and sales execution. The Sr Franchise Operations Manager will be responsible for developing bottler/ market specific commercial and customer plans, incorporating national and regional priorities as well as bottler-specific metrics and incentives. This position will also participate in CCNA franchise and bottler commercial and sales routines to ensure proper prioritization for fairlife DSD brands that align with fairlife business goals and objectives.ย 

responsibilities:ย 

  • Lead the Franchise, Commercial, and Customer execution and stewardship for fairlife's DSD portfolio of brands within the North American Operating Unit (NAOU), and specifically within assigned geographyย 
  • Partner with theย fairlifeย franchise operations,ย fairlifeย retail team, Bottlers, and NAOU customer and commercial leaders to develop customer-specific selling storiesย leveragingย leading edge consumer, shopper, and category insightsย 
  • Support Collaborative Business Plans and other strategic meetings by providing analytic and commercial support to the sales teamsย 
  • Assess local nuances, bottler-specific metrics, customer needs, and tailor plans to ensure programming will meet overall business goals, including creative development of regional programmingย 
  • Partner with commercial and regional bottler teams, as well as bottler sales teams, to customizeย fairlife'sย national commercial plan for specificย bottlerย and territoryย 
  • Conduct store visits with bottling partners to support executionย 
  • Collaborate withย internal stakeholders to support the businessย 
  • Efficiently prioritize time across all customers/RTM to ensure theย fairlifeย brands' category selling stories are flawlessly executed, on time, for each respective customer and buyerย 
  • Deliverย against annual and long-term Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including base brand acceleration, successful innovation sell-in and expansion, and achieving revenue and profit growth targetsย 
  • Leverage Nielsen, Numerator, retailer shopper data and proprietary Coca-Cola tools and research to develop best in class insights and selling storiesย 
  • Ensureย timelyย andย appropriate communicationย of confirmed programming toย fairlifeย and NAOU teams to maximize executionsย 
  • Assist Senior Director in annual Sources of Growth (SOG) planning along with the bottler commercial, customer, and revenue growth teams and Coca-Cola franchise leadershipย 
  • Partner with regionalย Field Operationsย Managers to develop bottler delivered brand selling materials for priority customers as neededย 
  • Evaluate current and past programming for effectiveness and ROI toย determineย future needs and plansย 
  • Identifyย opportunities for growth and expansion within assigned territory and accountsย 
  • Ensure time sensitive deadlines are met within assigned territoryย 

skills/qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related fieldย requiredย 
  • 3-5+ years of CPG sales and/or commercial experienceย required, with a focus on food or beverage products preferredย 
  • Strong ability toย leverageย and manipulate data and insights to tell a compelling story and drive business plan objectsย 
  • Strong analytical capabilitiesย utilizingย Nielsen, IRI, customer shopper data or similar programsย 
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsย 
  • Strong business acumen abilityย 
  • Ability toย leverageย combination of relationship development and data-driven influencing to achieve business goalsย 
  • Proactive attitude with entrepreneurial skill set, who thrives in a multi-tasking environmentย 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional groups, and take programs from concept to completionย
