From its headquarters in Austin, CTFB serves a 21-county region on a mission to increase food access by providing nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through programs, education, and innovative solutions.
Through a combination of direct-service programs and a network of approximately 250 nonprofit community partners, CTFB supports over 612,000 food-insecure individuals annually.

Position Overview
TheMarketCoordinator supports thegrowth and success ofCentral Texas Food Bank's (CTFB)Fresh Harvest Marketin Waco.CTFB's Fresh Harvest Market offers emergency access to nutritious food for Central Texans experiencing food insecurity.Located onsite at CTFB'sWaco facility, the market provides a dignified, choice-based shopping experience where neighbors can select fresh produce, shelf-stable groceries that meet theirhousehold'sneeds. In addition to food, visitors receive personalized support through a case management model that connects them to benefits like SNAP and other community resources. Responsibilities include overseeingclient intake and providing foodassistanceto individuals and families, connecting clients to community resources,working withvolunteers, and ensuring proper inventory and facility maintenance. This position plays a critical role at the Food Bank to address food access and health among food insecure clients, helping those clients to live healthier, morestableand self-sustaining lives. This position can also be physically demanding, as this role oversees the stocking of the pantry, and requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) most days.

The position reports directly to theMarketManager. While situated within theNeighborPrograms+Services department, this role involves close collaboration with teams in Benefits and Emergency Services, Logistics, Culinary, and CommunityNutrition.
