The Food Bank Manager - Atlanta contributes to AHF by leading the daily operations, service delivery, inventory management, and continued development of the new Atlanta Food Bank, located within the AHF Peachtree location. This position plays a critical role in establishing a large-scale, healthcare-connected food access model designed to serve AHF patients and individuals experiencing food insecurity with dignity, consistency, and care.
The Food Bank Manager - Atlanta enhances the reputation of AHF by ensuring that the food bank operates as a high-quality, organized, and client-centered program that reflects Food for Health's commitment to addressing food insecurity as a social determinant of health. Through strong operational leadership, thoughtful execution, and compassionate service delivery, you help position Food for Health as a trusted and effective partner in improving access to nutritious food for vulnerable communities in Atlanta.

The Food Bank Manager - Atlanta will work as a part of a close-knit team to serving as the on-site operational leader for the Atlanta Food Bank. You will be responsible for ensuring that the food bank is fully prepared to open, operate, and grow successfully. This includes supporting pre-opening planning, assisting with site readiness, helping establish workflows, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring that systems are in place for ordering, receiving, stocking, client access, inventory tracking, and reporting.
