Job Summary:

Envestnet is consolidating its month-end close, GL governance, and financial consolidation functions under a single strategic leader. As Director of Close & Consolidation, you will own the integrated close process — from Oracle FCCS consolidations and intercompany eliminations to ASC 606 revenue recognition automation and GL reconciliation governance. Today, ASC 606 is managed in spreadsheets and consolidation flows span US Oracle and India Tally systems. You will modernize and automate these processes, driving close cycle time down while improving accuracy and audit readiness. You report directly to the Head of Financial Systems and lead a team of three including a critical offshore EPM/FCCS specialist.

Your Team

You will lead a team of three specialists spanning US and India operations:

  • EPM/FCCS Specialist (India) — FCCS configuration, India consolidation flows, ASC 606 automation support (critical hire with 12-16 week lead time).
  • General Ledger Systems Manager (US) — GL reconciliations, account analysis, month-end execution.
  • Close Automation Specialist (US) — close calendar management, control testing, audit coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own Oracle FCCS consolidation process governance, configuration, and modernization.
  • Design and implement intercompany transaction elimination strategy and controls.
  • Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition automation — replacing current spreadsheet-based process.
  • Establish GL reconciliation framework and monthly close controls.
  • Drive month-end close cycle time reduction and accuracy improvement.
  • Manage entity and consolidation hierarchy across US and India operations.
  • Oversee India Tally-to-Oracle consolidation flows and data integrity.
  • Ensure audit readiness and SOX compliance for consolidation and close processes.
  • Build and manage a team including US-based GL and close specialists and an offshore EPM/FCCS lead in India.

What You'll Build

Year 1:

  • Reduce close cycle to under 7 days.
  • Deliver ASC 606 automation blueprint and begin implementation.
  • Streamline India-to-US consolidation flows (Tally to Oracle/FCCS).
  • Establish close calendar, control testing framework, and audit coordination process.

Year 2+:

  • Achieve 3-5 day close cycle.
  • Fully automate ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Deliver real-time consolidation visibility and reporting.
  • Zero material audit findings related to consolidation or close.

Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in financial consolidation, month-end close, or GL management.
  • Deep expertise with Oracle EPM/FCCS or comparable consolidation platform.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and automation approaches.
  • Experience with intercompany eliminations across multi-entity structures.
  • Experience managing offshore technical resources (India preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination.
  • Excellent stakeholder management — proactive, communicative, detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM Cloud integration.
  • Background in finance transformation or Big 4 consulting (close optimization, FCCS implementation).
  • Experience with India accounting systems (Tally ERP) and cross-border consolidation.
  • Familiarity with close management tools (BlackLine, FloQast, or equivalent).
  • Financial services or wealth management industry experience.

Envestnet:

  • Be a member of an innovative and industry leading financial technology and solutions company
  • Competitive Compensation/Total Reward Packages that include:
    • Health Benefits (Health/Dental/Vision)
    • Paid Time Off (PTO) & Volunteer Time Off (VTO)
    • 401K – Company Match
    • Annual Bonus Incentives
    • Parental Stipend
    • Tuition Reimbursement
    • Student Debt Program
    • Charitable Match
    • Wellness Program

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $151,000 to $189,000.
