JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) & Financial Systems will lead At Home's Finance Transformation through the implementation, adoption, and ongoing evolution of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Oracle EPM). This role serves as the business owner for Oracle EPM and partners closely with Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and business leaders to redesign planning, forecasting, reporting, workforce planning, and financial close processes.
The initial focus of this position is the successful implementation of Oracle Planning and Reporting, including Workforce Planning integrated with Oracle HCM, followed by Oracle Financial Close and future Oracle EPM capabilities. This leader will ensure technology enables best-practice business processes while driving automation, standardization, governance, and executive decision support.
Success requires a combination of deep Oracle EPM expertise, finance transformation leadership, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a complex, multi-location retail organization.
INITIAL PRIORITIES (FIRST 12-18 MONTHS)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Finance Transformation Leadership
  • Lead the Finance organization's transformation through implementation and optimization of Oracle EPM.
  • Develop and execute the Financial Systems roadmap aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Serve as business owner and product owner for Oracle EPM.
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for planning models, metadata, reporting, and master data.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

Business Process Leadership
  • Lead redesign of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, workforce planning, and financial close processes using Oracle EPM best practices.
  • Challenge legacy spreadsheet-based processes and implement scalable enterprise planning capabilities.
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, HR, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to improve financial decision-making.
  • Promote adoption of standardized planning methodologies across the organization.

Oracle EPM Implementation & Administration
Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of Oracle EPM including:

Systems Integration & Data Governance
Partner with Information Technology to integrate Oracle EPM with:

  • Supporting AI-assisted executive reporting and analytics.
  • Developing a roadmap for future Finance innovation while maintaining appropriate governance and controls.

Project Leadership & Change Management
  • Lead enterprise financial systems projects from design through deployment.
  • Manage implementation partners and consulting resources.
  • Build organizational adoption through communication, governance, and training.
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Coach Finance users and establish long-term support models.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Systems, FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management, or Finance Transformation.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise financial systems implementations.
  • Successfully led at least one Oracle EPM implementation from design through go-live.
  • Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, and finance business processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executive Finance leadership.

Preferred
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or related graduate degree/certification.
  • Retail or multi-location business experience.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Finance Transformation leader who combines deep Oracle EPM expertise with strong FP&A and Accounting process knowledge. They have successfully led enterprise Oracle EPM implementations, partnered closely with executive Finance leadership, and understand how planning, reporting, workforce planning, and financial close integrate within a modern Finance organization.
They are equally comfortable discussing planning models with Finance executives, implementation strategy with IT, and delivery expectations with implementation partners. Experience within retail, consumer products, or other multi-location organizations is highly desirable. They are intellectually curious, embrace emerging technologies-including Oracle AI-and continually seek opportunities to improve planning, reporting, and decision-making through innovation.
