**This position is located onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma**

SUMMARY: The purpose of the Financial Analyst position is to accurately compile and analyze financial information for an organization by the due dates specified. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. This position will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager/Senior Financial Analyst to accurately analyze and report financial data timely.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization.
  • Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
  • The analyst is expected to provide information on the company's current financial position and make recommendations to company decision-makers
  • Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances.
  • Produce accurate financial statements in the format specified by management by specified due dates
  • Maintain excel models to produce monthly financial packages accurately by specified due date
  • Research, collect, and enter financial data for monthly financial package or other reports as required
  • Prepare variance explanations actual vs budget, vs prior year, or forecast as required in a timely manner or as requested my management for reports prepared.
  • Create and provides ad-hoc financial analysis to support various areas of the company in a timely manner
  • Prepares data as required for financial forecasts and budgets accurately by the due dates specified
  • Performs special projects by due dates specified as requested by management


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Excel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Access
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and concepts
  • Workday Adaptive Planning software preferred, but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of their organization

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No direct supervisory responsibility


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position recommended


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • None required
  • CPA or CFP certification may be preferred to handle accounting presentations, accounting principles and financial analysis.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employees are required to use computers and other equipment.
  • Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _25_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
  • Work is generally performed during traditional working hours; regular day hours Monday through Friday, although there may be some changes to work schedule to include some weekends or evenings to meet deadlines.
